A Little Change

After my last post, I decided to take a little break from Resin art. I had a lot of items ready for the next two events in my diary and was running out of room! So I decided to go back to another form of art for a while and dug out one of my old painting by numbers kits!

I started doing painting by numbers during Covid lockdown in 2020. Although I'd always thought of it as a kid's activity, I figured it might be a good way to pass the time while stuck at home. I loved it and completed several kits over the next few years before branching out to paint pouring and then resin. I have a few kits still in the cupboard, so got one out and got started. I love watching the picture take shape as you add the colours.
I also had two events in the last month - the Burgh Halls Spring Fayre and the Easter Egg Hunt held by Friends of Inchyra Park in Grangemouth. I enjoyed both, although the Easter Egg hunt was so much fun - being a kids even there was lots going on and it was great seeing the kids have such a good time.
I've bought a few new molds lately, including a sweet spaniel type dog, and I have a few more on order from Into Resin. Looking forward to getting those and will post some pictures when I have some made.
